Energy saving tips!
Set the air conditioning at 26°C and the heating at 20°C. Every half degree Celsius may decrease energy consumption by 6%.
Replace light bulbs with LED wherever possible. They may reduce consumption by up to 70% and they have a longer life.
Insulate your building as good as possible to minimise loss in heating and cooling.
Use ceiling fans. They can provide comfort and reduce energy consumption.
Switch off the lights when they are not needed. Lighting accounts for about 12% of a typical residential electricity bill.
